Rainbow Dash Character ReviewBold, brave, daring and tenacious...these are words that one would usually associate with Rainbow Dash in "Friendship is Magic". But how about adorable, innocent and, at times, insecure? Rainbow Dash may be the sporty member of the group and the most tomboyish female within the mane cast, but this does not detract from the fact that, like every other pony, she has a multi-layered personality that allows her to express all sorts of emotions, both positive and negative. Some are naturally the sort of temperaments that one would normally match Rainbow Dash with, but it would be a great injustice to merely suggest that Rainbow Dash is concerned with competitions and little else.
Of course, there are competitive elements in her personality. It is revealed early into the series that she and Applejack, although good friends, are also rivals. In "Fall Weather Friends" this is evidenced well, wherein Rainbow Dash and Applejack face off against one another during the Running of the Leaves, but t
Christmas with Dashie"DADDY!" I awoke to hear Dashie's startled shout. I bolted out of my bed to her room to see what was wrong, and I found her standing on her dresser, hooves against the window, staring in awe and the magnificent snowscape forming outside as the white flakes blanketed the the ground. Dashie turned to me, her eyes wide with confusion. "What's going on?" She asked.
"That's called snow, Dashie." She looked at me, just as confused as before. "It's like... Flaky frozen water. It falls sometimes here." Dashie continued to stare at me with the same confusion and awe. "... Here, I'll show you." I grabbed my jacket and held it out to Dashie and she obediently let me scoop her up. I wrapped her in my jacket and took her outside.
As I stepped outside, her head darted Every which way in curiosity. A single flake of snow fell on her nose and she jumped, then shook her head furiously. I let out a quiet chuckle. Then, much to my surprise, she wiggled her way out of my arms and jumped to the ground. She
My Little Dashie: First HalloweenIt's now been one whole month since that night I found Dashie. The two of us really have something going now. For starters she's actually beginning to enjoy bath times and is making more progress learning to speak. However she still refers to me as "Daddy," and at this point, I've pretty much given up trying to convince her otherwise. I'm almost starting to hope she goes back to Equestria soon, because I don't want her to get attached and then be hurt when we're finally separated. Yet at the same time I'm really starting to feel attached to her myself, and hope that day will never come. Either way, we were coming up on our first holiday together Halloween.
I must say that it's not exactly the best holiday to start with. I mean she is very young, and I have no idea how she would react to all the spooky decorations and costumes. But I do think she should have at least some exposure to it.&
The Princess in the High TowerA Humanised Pony Tale: The Princess in the High Tower
The late night breeze was cold against Luna's face as she gazed down from the window of her chamber high in one of the tallest towers of Canterlot Castle. It blew in around her, setting the tapestries on the walls of her bedroom flapping fitfully. Far below, she could see all of Equestria, covered in darkness, and she watched as one by one the pretty yellow lights of the inhabitants' houses scattered across the blue and grey landscape winked out, leaving everything dark and still.
She looked up at the moon a mere sliver of anaemic yellow against the black sky, barely brighter than the tiny trembling stars that encircled it, and she thought back to how it had been so different once, a thousand years ago. Her moon had glowed fiercely then, fierce and beautiful, and Equestria had enjoyed a night-time wonderland where everything her light touched sparkled with an aura of blue-silver.
Whenever the people of Equestria told the lege

"I'm afraid that this is a business call of sorts, Twilight darling," said Rarity, sitting down at Twilight's coffee table as the lavender-coated unicorn poured them both a cup of tea. "I've come to draw upon that limitless knowledge of yours in all things magical."
Twilight blushed and her ears went back in embarrassment. "Oh, I wouldn't call it 'limitless' exactly," she said, letting the teapot float down onto the table-top. "But I hope I can help you."
Rarity smiled back at her. "Oh, thank you darling. It's just a little question that's come up with a dress I've been asked to design for Hoity Toity's autumn range." She levitated her cup to her lips and inhaled its delicious fragrance. "You see, there's been some disagreement regarding the shape of a floral pattern that's going to be embroidered on the hem of this exquisite little cocktail dress that we're working on. Oh darling, you'd absolute
How It Began"God, your two o'clock is here."
"I have a two o'clock?"
"He's been here since 7:45. I figured it's only polite to... sir."
God sighed. "Fine, send him in."
While He waited God cleared His desk of papers and blueprints; no need for outsiders to see His plans. Soon enough the door to His office opened and God stood, smiled, held out a hand towards one of the two visitor's chairs.
"God! Great stuff you're doing in sector 2-7-0! Great stuff!"
The man's hands were clammy, his handshake limp. Rumpled suit, porkpie hat, briefcase... oh Jes-- oh dear, a salesman. God's smile slipped a little but He soldiered on gamely. With luck He could shoo the poor guy away in a few minutes.
"So, what can I do for you?"
The man sat, briefcase across his knees. "Sector 2-7-0! Everyone's talking about it! What do you call it? Man and merman?"
"Man and woman, actually. And thanks. But we're pretty busy around here, and..."
"Oh! Right! No time for the wicked, eh?" The salesman winked and popped his briefcase,
